How this Site works.

Having our own Internet Site started as just a nice idea. But when I began to research it, I realized that maybe is was possible. First we needed software to serve the HTML pages. Next we needed a constant connection to the internet. The more I looked into it, the more I realized it was possible and we could do it. So this is how it all works.

  • First we started with a Pentium 133 and Windows 95.
  • Photos are taken with a Kodak Digital Camera.
  • We use a Cable Modem and Videon as our service Provider and Internet Connection.
  • Next, to serve the HTML pages we use Microsoft Personal Web Server.
  • Using MS Access 97, I created the data base and the Dynamic IDC/HTX pages.
  • Further Design and Layout was done with Microsoft Word 97.
  • So after a couple of months of very late nights and lots hard work here we are!
